	No, it is designed and manufactured for each type of racking which enables the Rackdefender to remain in position on the racking upright without any fixings.
	Does it need to rest on the floor?
	The Rackdefender does not need to rest on the floor like other forms of protection so it is made the correct size to properly protect the racking
	What is the impact/visibility strip for?
	The visibility strip helps the truck driver to better judge his position relative to the racking uprights. The visibility strips are available in different colours so that your warehouse can be zoned if required.
	How does the impact/visibility strip help to show impact to the rack defender?
	The impact strip shows up the level of impact. When the Rackdefender is nudged, there is little sign but when the impact force increases, so does the level of damage to the strip.
	What happens if the Rackdefender is hit when I am positioning my reach truck?
	Probably nothing – you may rebound slightly due to the nature of the materials used. The visibility strip may get marked. If you impact too hard, you will deform the strip.
	How do I know the racking is intact underneath the Rackdefender?
	Provided the upright is in serviceable condition when the Rackdefender goes on, the upright cannot get damaged without the visibility strip showing the evidence of a large impact.
	What happens if the visibility strip gets damaged?
	It depends on the severity of distortion of the strip. If the strip is severely distorted or out of the locating groove, we recommend that you check the upright to see if it has been damaged. Then simply reset or replace the visibility strip.
	What is the lifespan of a Rackdefender?
	The material has shown to retain it characteristics for over 30 years and generally remains serviceable even after significant multiple impacts.
